I love my job because I love to help patrons find the resources they are looking for. It could be as simple as finding a book or to just have someone to talk too. Libraries are safe places for the community to connect and learn from each other. I have two cats at home. One is a black cat named Stella and the other is a tabby named Kitty No. That is his actual name because he is always doing something he is not supposed to do. In addition, I love to volunteer at the Tiny Lions Cat Café on Jackson road. At first, I actually wanted to become a Paleontologist and study fossils. 

Hobbies: I love to latch hook which is creating rugs and pillows. I love to give them away as gifts. Swing dancing is something I love to do with my friends and it is great exercise. Reading or watching shows/ movies is something I enjoy to do as well.

I got some new clothes and spent some time on the beach by Lake Michigan. I went swing dancing at Farmington with swing dancers from U of M Dearborn and made some new friends. Of course, I did some working at the library as well. We even have some new coworkers and I love getting to know them. Also, I finally saw a play in 2021! My mom was stage managing for the Disney musical Remember the Magic. It was there first live performance they have done since December 2019. The musical was run by the nonprofit program called Horizon Preforming Arts. I went with my friend Kyle and my coworker Jacob and it was honestly one of the highlights of my summer!
