Is difficulty the turning point to success?

-About 5 years ago when I left school
-I signed up for military service in Gia Lai province, where is my hometown

For me, maturity is when I conquer difficulties and conquer myself

The first day I joined the unit, I felt very lonely and lost when I was surrounded by strangers.

In the days that followed, I was less homesick as I got used to the environment there.

I have to do the laundry and cook by myself, besides exercising in the field makes me too tired.

The times I was punished for push-ups and marches. I feel my fitness is getting better and better

the picnics are tiring but full of laughter

The scene of helping the people trapped by the storm. The activities to participate with the children are unforgettable

CONCLUSION

Through those experiences I feel that I am more mature from my actions as well as the way I think. I feel full of energy. Learn new things in this life. It makes me erase self-deprecating thoughts. I think no one can change yourself unless you really want to change.

On the first day of the new unit, all were unfamiliar to me from the environment to the comrades. The first day at the unit, strange and strange, (I-subject) did not talk to anyone, I was sad and missed my family a lot, especially my mother and tears of farewell. But after joining the unit for about 1 month, I have learn(“learned” – V3/ed)  a lot of things here. From a boy who can't (couldn’t- past simple) wash dish (dishes- multiple) or sweep the house, thanks to this I have (had-V3/ed) to do everything. I have (had-V3/ed) to practice cooking, laundry for dozens of people. The times I did wrong (was-past simple) in the middle of the hot summer afternoon. I had to carry heavy things on my shoulder (shoulders-multiple). The times I had to walk dozens of kilometers to evacuate people to avoid storms. Besides, I had to myself hand dig holes to plant dozens of trees in the mountains to protect nature and the environment(.) Every time I do something, I just need to meet a few obstacles and I can give up, but in the military(,)  it is (was-past simple) different, no matter what difficulties I have (had-V3/ed) to try to overcome to (in order to-replaced for “to”)receive and complete the task well. I also don't forget to reminisce about the most memorable moments when I was rolling around with my teammate (teammates-multiple) on the field during training sessions, the field trips were tiring but full of laughter (laughters-multiple) and the birthdays of my teammates were warm or nights watching with the stars...                 It was probably the most difficult time for me. I feel grateful that those hardships have made me a more mature and mature person. I will never forget it-those moments of memories. It will always be imprinted in my heart. You try to overcome yourself then you can overcome difficulties in this life.
