There are some pros to having this like, By having these primates in captivity it helps with researching drugs and to find Treatments. By doing this it could and Sometimes does improve human health. Most of the testing is what keeps humans Taking drugs alive.

There are also some cons to having these primates in captivity like, by having them in captivity after testing them and using them up the get killed. It is also very expensive so why do it! Animals and humans are never gonna be exact the same so it's quite pointless.

Monkeys spending the rest of there life's trapped in cages to be tested on. :(

I picked this topic because, i dissagree about the captivity

of primates. I truly think its crul to keep them caged up and

do testing on them. Just think how would you feel if it was

you all caged up and being injected with all kinda of drugs to

be tested out.

These people testing the animals may feel like they are helping humans,

but there are alot of pros and cons to this subject and im mostly on the con side.

i feel like this is truly animal abuse and i dont lke the whole thought even if its helping.

Just think how would you feel being tested on all the time not knowing whats going on.

Dutchess, Dying after 52 years.

This monkey named Dutchess the oldest primate in captivity, she first was adpopted

at a young age into a "zoo" in Phenoix. After a long life of testing she suffered from a certain

kind of cancer called (Lymphatic cancer) . she had many childeren and she lived one of the

longest lifes.
