Coherence truth test:
This truth test demands that we use information that is not acquired through personal experience, and instead rely on reason and logic, to reach an answer. This could depend on scenarios which have occurred in the past or your personal bias to mold your expectations of an event.
Examples:
For instance, if a teacher claims that an intelligent student wrote an excellent essay then we would not need proof to believe this because it is logical and quite evidently coherent.

Correspondence truth test accepts only personal experience in the form of sensual perception to be evidence of true knowledge. This is also known as empiricism which is the ideology that all of our knowledge is derived from experients and experimental proof. An example would be when a friend claims to have 'spoiled' a show or revealed elements of its plot; you'll never know if it was true or not until you watch the show yourself.

The statement can be useful and not true or true but not useful.

Examples:
- When there is a statement that water is wet, you will never know how water feels until you ouch something that is wet.
- If you claim to trust someone, without doing the trust fall for evidence, then the trust is not true.

The “truth” has been consistently used without effort given towards its final connotation in everyday life, where the definition of true knowledge hasn’t been entirely convinced. There are clear variants towards the term, and that there must be a clear guideline of presenting the entire truth. The entirety of the truth, from beginning to end, must be told as to truly reveal factual knowledge. And that by not filling out the entire guideline, we may only be telling part of the truth. Therefore, this is not necessarily true knowledge.

The correspondent’s truth test:

This test is meant match up proposition to what we can detect through our senses. What we hear, see, touch, taste, and smell help us match up knowledge in environments where necessary. Where seeing is knowing, rather than believing. An example would be touching ice. Our senses help us understand that the object is well and truly cold, therefore we have gained true knowledge that the object is cold

Truth is used, everyday in everyone lives, however do we really know the true meaning of truth. Truth is something to be believed in accordance to reality, fact or science.
Consensus means the agreement of a group of people, so our third truth test is based around the idea that truth is what the majority of people believe. In our example, the fact of the goalkeeper playing in the match would be confirmed as true if the majority of people watching the game confirmed that he was present.

This truth test is not one favored by any philosopher of note, although it is worth mentioning as it is often drawn on by many people to confirm what they are saying is true, and is used extensively by marketing companies to prove the quality of products they are trying to sell. Relying on the consensus truth test is a logically fallacy, which we will look at later on. Having said that, it is instinctively drawn on by all of us at times, as we ‘follow the crowd’ in making decisions and deciding on a particular course of action. How many times a day do you do something just because everyone else seems to be doing so? And have any of your teachers ever said to you, ‘What would happen if everyone behaved like that?’
