Not only does it use an item that is commonly found in people's trash, but it also allows plants to grow in it, which makes it not only safe for the environment,  but it also benefits the environment.

However, one issue is that the excess water needs holes to be drained. Ashna does mention it in her design, but it isn't shown in the product. There should have also been something a bit more innovative about the product to make it stand out, as there are many plastic bottle planter boxes.

Looking at Ashna's portfolio, which is showing her thought process, it is evident that she understands the meaning of the Global Context of this unit, which is "Globalization and Sustainability."

Ashna looks at all aspects of being sustainable through her product. She has used the whole plastic bottle, making it a better use of the waste and giving more space to the plants.

She has researched the product well because of the links that she used in Criterion A(ii).

Finally, in my opinion, her product is clearly suited to the target audience, which are the families that love gardening. There are many opportunities to plant many different plants that just fit the color.

However, I believe more colors could have been added, which would extend the target audience to much more people.

Overall, I believe Ashna's product fits the theme of this unit and is clearly well made. She has put a lot of thought into it.
