Another Brilliant Books & Biscuits book from this year. I particularly loved it - Finlay and Banjo are such endearing characters, Banjo made us all laugh a lot as we read it out loud, and I was teased mercilessly for my terrible Glaswegian accent! Excellent book - read it.

I've not read this, but with the re-election of Trump and subsequent dystopian happenings in the States, this author was apparently right on the money and seems to have foretold things quite uncannily!

I'm late to the party with this author. I spent years thinking she wasn't for me, then read The Women and am now working my way through her backlist. We read this for staff book group earlier in the year and I loved it.
