         <description><![CDATA[<p><strong>Shelter…</strong>We need to provide shelter that allows our students to flourish in a purposeful, relevant, and joyful environment. We can support our students in this endeavor by building awareness of social and ethical considerations as well as nurturing digital literacy and civil discourse. Risk and failure should continue to be actively taught and practiced as students begin to understand the possibilities and limitations of AI.</p><p>Included in <em>sheltering</em> students are detailed structures of how they are allowed to use AI. We should take responsibility for asking how AI rules are being clarified and evaluated across all departments so we can provide specific guidelines and clear policies regarding academic dishonesty.
