Before becoming a trainer for Teaching Strategies, I was a teacher and an instructional coach. Before covid I conducted a lot of trainings in person; now I do all of my sessions virtually. I really enjoy listening to teachers share their successes and feel privileged when they share their struggles. Teaching is hard and stressful at times. I'm hoping everyone today will end the session with the realization that Al's Pals is not just a curriculum to help children with their social-emotional growth, but it also can help teachers create a classroom climate that will ultimately reduce their stress. Personally, I relieve a lot of my stress by walking and sitting on the banks of the Wekiva River.
