I chose this topic because ever since I was a kid, sports have been a big part of my life. I felt that this ethnography would give me another perspective on how important team chemistry is for on field success. Particularly in hockey, team cohesion is something that is vital to success.

Challenges I Faced

The challenges I faced in completing the assignment were struggling to start as well as organize my ideas. I struggled to get myself to sit down and start the essay because I was feeling sort of lost in the way that I didn't know where to begin. Once I was able to get an outline it went well.

Throughout this process, I enjoyed learning more about all of the factors that go into creating a successful team. The research I completed gave me a new appreciation for the team aspect as a whole. I was able to compare my research to what I have learned to my own life, which helped me get a much better understanding.

The resources I used for this assignment were a variety similar articles that were cited in the original ethnography. I did some reading into them for a better background understanding of the points they were trying to get across, and I found them all extremely helpful.

Overall, I learned a lot about the importance of team cohesion in creating successful on field results. But I also learned lots about writing techniques, specifically the importance of outlines and organization.

I would tell someone who is preparing to start this essay that the most important thing is to choose an interesting ethnography. If you're interesting in it, the rest of it will come much easier.
