I discoverred Victory through Pastor Jeff. Since ako po ay listener nya sa the daily brad sa show ni Sir Ted filon, at the same time, in his friday night show on his FB and youtube channels. noong nagsabi po sya sa segment nya na if may prayer request of if gusto mag join sa small groups for bible study, I sent him a message sa Fb page. Then noong nakilala na nya po ako, I brows his website and doon ko po nalaman na nag preach po sya sa victory fort. So I followed the page. One time, Na guest po kami ng brother ko sa the daily brad show. Madami pong na inspire sa story namin kasi po blind na, triathlete pa and member pa ng national team. after that guesting, I desided to send an inquiry sa victory fort page and sa victory Alabang page just to find a victory group for me. ang gusto ko po kasi sa victory group is yung mga members is friendly and willing kang samahan sa mga ganap mo in life.
Until Bro Vladimir Santos messaged me regarding my VG inquiry then finally, I'm part of it. And another Victory group leader from Victory Alabang message me regarding the same inquiry sinali din ako sa Vg nila. So inshort, I have 2 victory groups. sobrang laking tulong din po sakin ng victory groups dahil marami po ang tumutulong sakin in my walk with God and marami din ang pepray sakin especially if malapit na po ang competitions namin as an athlete.
Last October 15, 2021, I finished undergoing One2one and I'm so happy na maging part ng mga victory groups.
Currently I'm about to prepare for my future races and hopefully po matuloy po kami sa Yokohama Japan to represent our country in the 2022 world para triathlon series this is the qualifier for the 2024 Paris paralympic games. I'm also preparing for victory weekend online witch will be held this coming Feb. 4 - 6, 2022 in victory alabang and I'm looking forward for this event lalo na yung water baptism because I'm excited to declare my faith in God through water baptism.
Sobrang grateful ko po kay Lord kasi po binibigyan nya po ako ng maraming blessings. I wanna share my faith goal for this year. It is simple, I want to grow more spiritually and I will keep believing in God.
I always have this verse in me kung anoman po ang ginagawa ko po in life. My life verse is from Jeremiah 29:11 witch says: "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the lord. plans to prosper you and not to harm you, but plans will give you hope in the future". I know na may plano pa po si Lord sa buhay ko basta I will trust always in him and abide in his words.

True enough, God revealed to me and upon confirming with my husband he told me he wants to leave the family. But because he still was not sure with the other woman, he stayed and we attended counseling sessions from Ptr. Dionglay and Ptr. Jun Divierte. After 6 months, God told me I have yet to uncover something else and he showed me that apart from the affair, my husband was hooking up with prostitutes for 3 years. This led me to almost give up on the marriage. Everytime I asked God what to do, he would tell me to forgive. It was a long and painful journey but God helped us through. Last May 2021, we even bought a house of our own and moved on from all the painful things that happened. I also pray for the family reconciliation. since it was recently that we had a mis understanding and conflict. May GOd touch their heart to have an open arms to our mother financially. As what I have mentioned about my Papa's supposed to be Lung Biopsy this January 13th, God made a way to move it and postpone it because He had a different plan. On January 11th, my Papa's swab result was released. And he tested positive together with my brother who was supposed to be with him during the Lung Biopsy at MMC. Both of them tested COVID positive. The moment I heard this news from my family, it broke me to tears. But God reminded me that He is in control My brother and my Papa isolated and my whole family did the disinfection and other health protocols. I thank God because He spoke to me and I clearly heard after hearing the verse in Joshua 3:5 "Consecrate yourselves, because the Lord will do wonders among you," that this prayer and fasting was not about my Papa's health but about my brother's unforgiveness in his heart towards my Papa. This situation also led me and my sister to minister to our parents virtually. I thank God for sending the Holy Spirit to me because this morning, January 12th around 8am, I shared the gospel for the first time with my Mama. Yes, tears filled her eyes but I believe that God is doing His work right now at our home. Me and my sister are only the believers in the family. My two other brothers, my mother, father, sister-in-law and nephew aren't believers yet. But I thank God because He gave me that courage and boldness to share the Word with my Mama. This year's Prayer and Fasting made me realized that truly God is the One whom I should seek and let Him do His work in our lives. And for this year, my faith goal was changed from physical healing into spiritual healing/salvation of our entire household. I pray that God will sustain me and my sister to boldly share the Gospel to our family. I am so excited to witness the wonders that God is currently doing in our family. I thank God for this church family. All the preaching on the Morning Worship and Prayer and 12nn and 7pm Prayer Meetings are deeply touching my and my husband's hearts. He was a marine engineer. He aggravated his illness while on  board and he had to go back here in the Philippines. 

Just 18 days after he arrived, he passed away. We did not only lost the head of our household but also our sole provider. We were denied by his company of any form of compensation so we had no choice but to file a complaint against them.

The tragic event left a deep longing in my heart for a father. It revealed all of the brokenness that I was not even aware of. I had to resort to various ways in order to fill that void but obviously, failed to do so.

It was January of 2014, when I first participated in prayer and fasting. It was then when I started believing God as the “new” head of our household. Jesus met me in my situation. He introduced me to His loving Father. I gained access to my Abba through Jesus Christ. 

As for the petition that we filed, it was denied from the very beginning. From NLRC to The Court of Appeals. But it didn’t stop me from writing it down on my prayer requests every year. I have to admit that most days I’ve even forgotten about it. And it’s not because I don’t believe God is able to do the impossible. It’s just that He has been realigning my heart to the things that are not of this world. I fully surrendered my life to Christ and joined the ministry in 2017, and started making disciples in 2018. I was too preoccupied that it slowly became my “forgotten prayer.”

But God has not forgotten about it. Truly, He answers prayers according to His character. It was not enough for Him to just provide for the needs of my family all these years. He wants to give justice. And this year, He did. Our petition in the Supreme Court is granted and their motion for reconsideration is denied. He ended a decade of losing battle in victory.

Let it be known that my GOD is the FATHER of the fatherless and the DEFENDER of the widow.

We welcomed the new year riddled with difficulties. One of these was my father becoming infected with the Omicron virus. He had no notion he had brought it home with him and compromised the health of his wife and two daughters.

It was challenging because we were going through various financial tests at the time, and a new difficulty had arisen. But then came the Prayer and Fasting Week, and we clung to the hope that He would restore my father's health and strength, and that we would be able to conquer this crisis without having to go to the hospital.

And indeed, by God's grace and mercy, we praise Him for being with us every day and bringing healing to our home. Hindi pa nga tapos ang Prayer and Fasting Week at may answered prayer na kami!
