It is important to practice getting "stuck" and "unstuck" on different ideas and practicing thinking outside the box.&nbsp;We should be normalizing overcoming hard things and teaching students that they can do it too.          <description><![CDATA[<div>The ten concepts that were highlighted in this assignment all tie into our program’s essential question: <em>In light of what is known about how children learn, how shall professional educators best promote resilience and recovery for the children and their families who have experienced traumatic events? </em><br><br>Framing our teaching and learning around competency, projects, standards, and placing emphasis on problem solving skills all promote resilience and hold high standards for success for students and families who have experienced trauma. It is important to continue to provide opportunities that promote learning and are not focused on defining individuals based on their trauma. By also instilling mindfulness techniques along the way, these concepts share the overall goal in mind to help individuals reach their fullest potential, regardless of circumstances. 	</div>]]></description>
