I am concerned about my grade. I have heard that is kind of a tough class, and I am striving to reach honor roll and do not want to be too stressed.

I learn best when I ask questions. If we have work time, listening to music helps me.

I am very competitive and don't like to lose. So I will be doing anything in my power to help me succeed.

1. So we never forget about the stories from native americans. He really wants the future generations to keep learning and remembering the heritage.

2. So we can see the people speak the words from their own lips. We can fully believe the people said that and the story is true to them and not made up.

3. Inform. He is trying to inform us about how he is trying to help keep native american literature in future generations.

Biased towards the side of the name being wrong. They spoke about all the bad and hardly any good.

I feel that if it was previously acceptable then why change it. The name "Redskins" was never meant to be used in any racist way. From what I know, they used the team name to portray ferocious people that will fight to the end in battle, aka the football game.

It would be tough to be a poet because writing the poems, and working past the hate of society would be tough. Then on top of that she is a puritan poet. She brought attention upon herself and the puritan community which was frowned upon. And mostly the men were poets, not females.

Waking up at the same time every day. If you get in a good routine your body will always be ready to go.

I learned this from my dad. I also figured it out on my own because I have woken up around the same time for the past couple years.

The devil evolved in a way. Starting as a hairy looking monster. He went to a upright lizard, then a three headed monster. The devil shows pain and downsided form. He then went to a more human form, known as the fallen angel. The writers used the devil becuase he was a bad character and they used him during a bad time.

One of the leading factors was his themes. The book "leaves of grass" also helped contribute. He just wrote, not with a whole lot of structure.

A precise thought that keys on emotions and feelings. They are art, not science which can feel right or wrong. They are comparing things.

A metaphor developed in great detail.

Homework is a long, winding, road; taking a different turn all the time.
homework is dificult and can take time, like a long road, and it is difficult to understand sometimes, like the sudden turns to a road.

One is more hazy while the other is more realistic looking. One also looks upset or mad vs. the other one is having a happy look. One has a more natural pose while the other is weird. The lighting is more realistic on one while the other has light from all around.

Realism is more realistic in life that realism. Romanticism is more "far fetched"

Men went back to jobs, but women were then able to gain many jobs. More of the "behind the desk" jobs.

Positves were that women broke the gender barrier by working on the factory floor.

Negatives were the birth rates dropping.
