How i would teach this
-bring the children outdoors or to a garden area and sing the song fly fly butterfly
-introduce the home materials and let the children know that they can make art with it. Use droppers and watercolour to paint the kitchen towel with and attach the clothes pin in the middle to make a butterfly
-let the children talk about their artwork and talk about their friends’ too through a show and tell

-collect foliage - twigs, leaves, flowers, pebbles
Let them work in small groups to create A3 template of foliage. Let them place the leaves, pebbles, twigs on the A3 template based on their ideas. Take photos. As an alternative, they can glue the leaves and twigs on the paper, dry and display.
- Invite children to present their creations.
