• Definitely fruits. For anyone who has watched Dance Moms, I have an Abby Lee Miller-style pyramid ranking of fruits in my head. Pomegranates have sat comfortably at the top for a while, but the rest of the ranking is somewhat variable. My current second-tier fruits are cherries and (sweet) blackberries. Finally, my third-tier fruits are white nectarines, strawberries, and pineapples. They’re good, but they need to polish their flavor a little more to be great. 

  
  

What animal do you believe most closely matches your personality and why?

• I would say that I am a cockatiel aspiring to be an orca. Cockatiels are social and playful — they also love to sing and dance. It’s so cute! If you’re ever feeling down, I highly recommend watching a video of a cockatiel dancing to September by Earth, Wind, and Fire. Anyway, I resonate with all of that, but I aspire to be an orca because they are innovative, dynamic, and easily one of the most intelligent non-human species on Earth.

  
  

What would you do if you won the lottery?

• In this economy? Probably fill up a tank of gas or pay a month of rent…

  
  

What makes you laugh the most?

• My best friends! It seems like a huge cliché, but I am certain that my friends and I are some of the funniest people on the planet. I think everyone thinks that, though. We have thousands of inside jokes and appreciate decompressing by turning off our “work brains” together and being goofy. One night, we sat around my living room and tried to see who could hit Michael Jackson’s “hee hee” the most accurately.

• What is your ideal way to spend your weekends?
  On the most ideal weekend, I’d spend one day in bed reading and watching TV, and on the other day I’d go to the beach or meet up with a friend and catch some live music or see a play.
