Rewind

Recently I have read Rewind. It´s a novel and a drama. It is an amazing book whose author is Juan Tallón, a really good writer. The action takes place in Italy and Spain, in May of 2018.

The main character is Paul Madiot, who is a Fine Arts student. He is a young man, tall, and with brown hair. He loves to paint and be with his friends, with whom he lives in an apartment in the center of Italy. The story tells about a horrible history of an attempt in their house. All of Paul's friends die, except him. The book is narrated by five different people, who in one way or another were affected by the accident. It also tells the consequences over the next three years. Rewind is about the possibility of rewinding, about the person that in the end we are not, and about the ability of people to remake themselves when they break.

I strongly recommend this book because it is very touching and realistic. It is also very entertaining because it is unpredictable. You have to pay attention to all the details. And of course because you will have a good time.

THE DREAMER

This novel is not only a tribute to the life of Pablo Neruda but also a celebration of the power of imagination and the resilience of the human spirit. It is a testament to the enduring impact of literature and the importance of embracing one's creative identity.

THE LORD OF THE RINGS

Recently I have read The Lord of the Rings. It is a science fiction book which contains a saga of three books. This book was written by J.R.R. Tolkien, and it is a really fascinating, exciting and moving story.

The action takes place in the Third Age of the Middle Earth, a fictional place where men and other races such as elves, hobbits, dwarves and wizards live.

The main character is Frodo Bolson, who lives in the shire with his uncle. He is a simple hobbit who works as a farmer and his life is really calm in the countryside, but one day Gandalf, a wizard, entrusted hima tough mission.

The story tells about the difficult journey that Frodo has to make to destroy the power ring. The dark lord, Sauron, created three rings for elves, seven for dwarves, nine for men and one for him. This is the power ring to dominate others.

Sauron lost his power ring in a battle and it was found by Bilbo Bolson, Frodo´s uncle. In order to live in a peaceful world without dark shadows, someone has to carry to the Destiny Mountain.and destroy it Frodo is helped by some good characters like Aragorn, Sam, Legolas and Gandalf.

However, Sauron wants to get his ring back before it is destroyed.

What I like most about the book is how it is written, its interesting characters and its touching plot.

Kao-Tai ist ein Mandarin aus dem China des 10. Jahrhunderts. Er baut eine Zeitmaschine und landet damit im München (Min-Chen) des Jahres 1985. Das Buch versammelt die Briefe, die Kao-Tai an seinen Freund, den Mandarin Dji-gu, richtet. Darin schildert er alles, was er erlebt, und berichtet von diesem verrückten Land Ba-Yan (Bayern), in dem die „Großnasen“ wohnen.

Das Buch ist echt witzig und zeigt, wie komisch viele Sachen bei uns eigentlich sind – Liebe, Freizeit, Konsum und so weiter. Nur die Musik der Großnasen (vor allem die Werke des Meister Weng-to-Feng) und ein Getränk namens Mo-te Chan-dong gefallen ihm wirklich. Das Buch war ein Riesenerfolg. Es wurde zu Rosendorfers bekanntestem Werk und gilt als Klassiker der modernen Satire.
