His mother Afeni Shakur had been a political activist and Black Panther Party member who was arrested in 1969 for planning attacks on police stations and offices in New York City when she was pregnant with Tupac while on bail she acquitted in 1971 after defending herself in court.

Tupac's first name was Lesane but when he was 1-year-old Afeni (mom) changed his name to Tupac Amaru. Tupac was named after a Peruvian activist who was killed by the Spanish, Later Tupac took his surname from his sister. Sekiywa's father another Black Panther named Mutulu Shakur

Multiple of Tupac's friends were treated horribly by police members and Tupac couldn't believe how the world was treating blacks. So he decided to tell people about the way they where being treated by rapping to people.

On September 7, 1996 Tupac was leaving a casino in Vegas when he was shot by an unknown assailant (possibly Puff Daddy) which was to be believed the cause of a rivalry between east coast and west coast rap gangs, he sadly died 6 days later

In 1993 two white off-duty cops were harassing a black driver in Atlanta, Tupac tried to stop the two officers but in the altercation, the officer pulled a gun out, so in self-defense, Tupac shot the two officers, he shot one in the abdomen and one in his rear. However, his charges were dropped because the evidence later proved that the two officers were drinking and were the ones who started the altercation. Tupac was later put in jail for 15 days after assaulting a movie director Allen Hughes who had fired him from the set of Menace 11 Society for being disruptive.
