1. How did Adam and Eve hurt themselves when they chose to sin?

Adam and Eve hurt themselves by becoming aware of their faults, they were ashamed of their nakedness and felt guilt for what they did as they were separated from God's grace. For ignorance is bliss, they once innocent and unashamed as God proclaimed, but now knowing what is good and evil, they have fallen and hurt themselves by being casted out from the Garden by God for choosing to sin.

The moment Adam and Eve disobeyed the Lord, they began to face the ugly consequences. They lost all the privileges in the beautiful garden of Eden; curses, struggles, suffering, pains, sickness and death came upon them. They were eventually driven out of the garden by the Lord. But before that happened, God did not strip them off from their leafy aprons but graciously offered them permanent skin garments to cover their shame.

5. Think of the time when you did something wrong. What did you learn from it?

I won't go into detail about what I did, but it occurred a year ago. That time, I did something bad and didn't tell my parents about it. I was simply so quiet but as time goes on, the load in my heart grows heavier and every time I speak to my parents I get nervous. Because of how I felt, I decided to just tell them the truth, and they were upset with me for not telling it right away. I've learned that it's far better to speak the truth straight immediately than to hide it for a long time. We should really not try to avoid the consequences of our wrongdoings because for every action there’s always a consequence that follows.

3. Why did God have to punish Adam and Eve?

When Adam and Eve ate the forbidden fruit, they defy God’s command. The scripture says that Adam and Eve were banished from the garden and the placement of the Cherubim at the gateway, not as a punishment but to prevent their access to the Tree of Life and becoming immortal. It wasn’t a punishment but a consequence,He was telling them that the consequences of their actions would let them learn just what it means to be a human and separated from the presence of the Lord.

6. In what ways are you tempted? How can you resist temptation?

Temptations can be found anywhere, at any time, and in anyone. It is when we greatly desire to do something, even if its unethical. Our own thoughts, our environment, what we see, and who we are with can all tempt us. You can resist temptation by practicing self-control and choosing the right path over the bad one. Keeping in mind the importance of living a holistic life, putting God in the center of everything that you do. Always remember that your choices depends on you and life is a matter of choice. Remember that a repeated choice will soon become a habit and a habit will eventually become your lifestyle, so if you choose to be tempted then prepare for the consequences you will face.

4. Did God's love end when He sent away Adam and Eve from the garden?

Even before and after they sinned, God extended love to Adam and Eve. God created Eve because He believes that a man should not be alone. Also, God forbade and warned them not to eat from the Tree of Life; Also God clothed them in animal skin since the fig leaves they were using were insufficient. More importantly, he clothed them in the body and blood of Jesus; God continued to communicate with them, even though they were no longer in the physical location that God had given them; they lived long; God still enabled Adam to live beyond 900 years, despite the fact that he deserved to die physically right away. Listed above are some of the ways that God showed love to Adam and Eve.
