I would have to complete 1,200 credit hours, which is the equivalent of 1,500 clock hours, to become a licensed Cosmetologist. Full time students can complete the curriculum in 10 months with good attendance. To attend I would have to have proof of education like a high school diploma, GED certificate, or an official transcript. I would also have to have completed 10th grade. I have to be 16 years of age, have my SSC (Social Security Card), and have photos to prove.
