DESCRIPTION & OBJECTIVE: To culminate your learning experience from EDUC 317, you will create a portfolio to showcase your learning in Teaching with Technology. The main objective of this portfolio is to showcase your learning, reflections, and plans for teaching with technology in your future classroom. Your portfolio is a collection of lesson plans, digital tools, your philosophy of technology in the classroom, and reflections

INSTRUCTIONS: Refer to the checklist below to guide which artifacts you should place in your portfolio. To present your Portfolio, use Padlet and submit the link here in this dropbox. Refer to the rubric for detailed expectations. 

For the best grade possible, include the following items in your Padlet Portfolio: 

1. Your Philosophy of Technology in the Classroom (exactly 50 words)

2. Your three professional learning goals and if you met/did not meet your goals. To evaluate your goals, use feedback from the course instructor's evaluations and observations and the data you gathered from the field experience at the museum. 

3. Your 4 ALC certificates

   • ALC Course #1 - “NAD Resources for the University/College Education Pre-service Teachers” 

   • ALC Course #2 - “AE Resources: A Gold Mine!”

   • ALC Course #3 - “AE Connect: NAD Student Information System” 

   • ALC Course #4 - “AE Dashboard for Educators” 

4. Your 5 favorite digital tools you could use as a classroom teacher. For each tool --  

   • include a hyperlink

   • include a brief description 

   • include a brief example (mention content/topic/lesson/activity) of how you would use the tool in your classroom for learning, assessing, engagement, etc. 

5. A creative way to showcase and define the ISTE Student Standards, i.e. concept map, chart, video, etc. 

6. A creative way to showcase and define the ISTE Teacher Standards and how you met at least 3 of the Standards. 

7. Artifacts (evidence that you have lesson-planned with technology): 

   • Upload your 3 blended lesson plans 

     • ISTE Lesson plan #1 - ISTE Designer 2.5 and (select one) 1.3-1.7 Museum Activity 

     • ISTE Lesson plan #2 - ISTE Facilitator 2.6, Digital Citizen 1.2

     • ISTE Lesson plan #3 - ISTE Collaborator 2.4, Empowered Learner 1.1

8. Upload the flyer you created for the Peace & War Museum Project with QR Code

9. Upload your teaching demo video

10. Reflections: 

    • Field Experience Museum Activity Reflections & student data from your informal/formal assessment

      • Self-reflections of in-class teaching demo (commentaries)

      • Peer Evaluations of in-class teaching demo: Summary of trends and patterns via AI-generated
