It's a noir-driven story set in LA, America. Of course I bought the book because the cover page looked stunning but the story is even more interesting. It's intriguing, well-written and delivers a thrilling punch. It's hard to put it down as it's eerie and suspenseful. For those who like crime-thrillers with a bit of fantasy, this is the right book.

I've been thinking of reading this novel after watching the two movies based on it. I read this through the month of November. The book is creepy and terrifying at some point. But mostly the part that I like the most is the friendship and unity of all the "loser club" members. And especially Richie "Trashmouth" Tozier (I love him so much because he is funny and a little awkward). If you enjoyed the movie, you might wanna give it a try. It is a very long book, but, you will enjoy every part of it. I am a huge fan of Stephen King as well as horror stories. If you haven't watched the movie already I would like to tell you that read the novel first and then watch the movie. I don't wanna spoil both the movie and novel to you so go ahead and give it a try (and especially if you love horror) 🎈🎈
By Sagariga Sajan

Good morning I am Siddarth Sunil of class 6 B , and today I will tell you about the books that I am reading now . They are :
The man from the egg .
The magic of the lost temple .
These books are written by my favourite author - Sudha Murty . In the book " the magic of the lost temple " Sudha Murty tells about her grandchild - Anoushka mostly known as Nooni . This book tells about Nooni 's summer vacation in her father's village . Where she hears a story from her grandparents , it is like this that the story is 1 but her grandmother tells this is one way and her grandfather tells it in another way !!! . And one day when Nooni goes out on a walk she finds the stepwell which she had heard in the story . So this story Sudha Murty has written it in a interesting and wonderful way . I love it .
The second book - " The man from the egg ." is also by Sudha Murthy , in this book Sudha Murty tells about the power of the TRINITY . The book is divided into 3 parts :
Omkara Swarupa ( Brahma )
Satyam Shivam Sundaram ( Shiva )
Sambhavami Yuge Yuge ( Vishnu )
After finish reading each part we will surely be a devotee of each God . And after reading the full book our mind will be having a felling which will refresh our whole body . I also had a felling . I liked it too .

Thank you !

The Alchemist
Written by: Paulo Coelho
Genre: Fantasy & Adventure fiction
It is a story of a shepherd , Santiago, who leaves his flock and his land to pursue his dream. A boy who is on a journey of discovering his destiny and realising his dream of finding a treasure. This story tells us that the happiness , contentment, peace & joy of one’s life lies within his journey towards his dream of life.  When a person strives to live his dream , nature helps him out to seek his dream; as written in The Alchemist;
“When you want something, all the universe conspires in helping you to achieve it.”

While reading this novel , the reader enjoys the journey of Santiago and learns a lot of things which Santiago learns from his journey.

He learns how to deal with yourself when you have nothing in your pocket and nothing on your mind.
“He had not a cent in his pocket, but he had faith.”

He learns from his journey that when you listen to what your heart says , you learn to live with strength. The only thing that restrains you from moving ahead is fear; as the boy said:
“My heart is afraid that it will have to suffer.”
His guide in the desert, the Alchemist, replied him:
“Tell your heart that the fear of suffering is worse than the suffering itself.”

He learns the beauty which resides in enjoying simple yet deep things in life.
“It’s the simple things in life that are the most extraordinary;only wise men are able to understand them.”

He learns that there is a language of world without words;
“If I can learn to understand this language without words, I can learn to understand the world.”

And most importantly , the idea of living in present and investing all your strength and energy in your present is really helpful for a better future. Two of my favourite paragraphs from the book are;

“Because I don’t live in either my past or my future. I’m interested only in the present . If you can concentrate always on the present , you’ll be a happy man. .... . Life will be a party for you, a grand festival, because life is the moment we’re living right now.”

“The secret is here in the present. If you pay attention to the present , you can improve upon it . And, if you improve on present , what comes later will also be better. Forget about the future, and live each day according to the teachings...Each day , in itself , brings with it an eternity.”

He learns that life means constant change because;
“Everything on Earth is being continuously transformed, because the earth is alive ... and it has a soul.”

All the ideas and concepts which Santiago learns in his journey were perfectly inspiring but to me, the most important one was the idea of love without ownership , the concept of love as distinct from possession. He loves a girl of dessert, Fatimah, who proves that true love is the one which encourages you to pursue your dreams and destiny because true love does not demand possession or ownership. It’s always there no matter where you are.

Overall, the book tells us that we must not run away from our destiny. This book is full of ideas about spirituality, destiny & dreams. A highly recommended book for people aspiring for high aims and chasing their dreams.

Thank you......

Malory towers is a series of 6 novels by the English author Enid Blyton. Currently I am reading the 1st book which is in a form of autobiography written by a student named Darrell River, who goes to a boarding school named Malory tower. She expresses her feelings and the activities she did or what she did in the school. She describes her school, her teachers, her friends, her caretakers and even the insects that goes through the school. She describes the character of every student in her school or class. She disliked a girl named Sally Hope as she teases and disturbs other girls in the class. Darrell often loses her temper which made Sally Hope one of her enemy. In the last of this book a twist happens that Sally becomes friend with Darrell.

Characters
Darrell Rivers is the main character of the first six books. She is hot-tempered and this causes her many problems, but she learns to control it as she goes up the school, and she is also a very responsible, hard-working girl
Gwendoline Lacey was a silly girl, always thinking that she was good, even when she was doing the wrong things.
Alicia Johns was the form joker. There was no end to the tricks she played on the poor teachers. Although she was very popular because of her pranks and jokes, she was also very sharp-tongued and scornful of those less talented or healthy than her
Sally Hope was Darrell's best friend. Although at first, she was very odd and quiet because of troubles at home, she soon blossomed into a calm, responsible young lady.
Betty was Alicia's best friend from a different tower, and she was very similar to Alicia
Mary-Lou was "a timid little thing" who was even scared of her own shadow when she first came. However, she did get better.
Daphne was a silly, pretty girl who joined in the second form. She initially made friends with Gwendoline, before becoming a better person and befriending Mary-Lou.
Felicity Rivers was Darrell's younger sister who joins the first form when Darrell is in the fourth.
June Johns was Alicia's cousin who was in Felicity's form. Like her cousin, she was extremely mischievous and troublesome, but not quite as good-hearted, and she ended up hurting many other girls' feelings. But she was also sensible and quiet a kind person
Susan Blake was Felicity's best friend. She was very sensible and responsible but had a good sense of humor and therefore very popular among her form.
Miss Potts was the first form mistress and head of North Tower. She was very strict and always had an eye on mischief-makers such as Alicia and June.
Mam'zelle DuPont was one of the two French mistresses. She was very silly and was afraid of many things.
Miss Grayling was the headmistress. She was very sensible and strict, but also kind and gentle.

THANKYOU…………

The Great Gatsby is a 1925 novel by American writer F. Scott Fitzgerald. Set in the Jazz Age on Long Island, the novel depicts narrator Nick Carraway's interactions with mysterious millionaire Jay Gatsby and Gatsby's obsession to reunite with his former lover, Daisy Buchanan. The narrator of The Great Gatsby is a young man from Minnesota named Nick Carraway. He not only narrates the story but casts himself as the book’s author. He begins by commenting on himself, stating that he learned from his father to reserve judgment about other people, because if he holds them up to his own moral standards, he will misunderstand them. He characterizes himself as both highly moral and highly tolerant. He briefly mentions the hero of his story, Gatsby, saying that Gatsby represented everything he scorns, but that he exempts Gatsby completely from his usual judgments. Gatsby’s personality was nothing short of “gorgeous.”

In the summer of 1922, Nick writes, he had just arrived in New York, where he moved to work in the bond business, and rented a house on a part of Long Island called West Egg. Unlike the conservative, aristocratic East Egg, West Egg is home to the “new rich,” those who, having made their fortunes recently, have neither the social connections nor the refinement to move among the East Egg set. West Egg is characterized by lavish displays of wealth and garish poor taste. Nick’s comparatively modest West Egg house is next door to Gatsby’s mansion, a sprawling Gothic monstrosity.

The narrator of The Great Gatsby is a young man from Minnesota named Nick Carr away.

In the summer of 1922, Nick writes, he had just arrived in New York, where he moved to work in the bond business, and rented a house on a part of Long Island

Five Have a Mystery to Solve is the twentieth novel in the Famous Five series by Enid Blyton. It was first published in 1962. As the penultimate book in the Famous Five series, it follows the usual formula of finding secret passages, drinking ginger beer, hunting treasure, and foiling evil-doers.
The book starts out with the Five riding their bikes to the coast near Whispering Island. There they meet wild Wilfrid, and befriend him, although with a few upsets. Despite the Five's resolve to keep adventures out, they get stranded on Whispering Island, the island which is rumoured to have strange goings-on, as described by Lucas, the man who works at the golf-course on the coast (formerly one of the guardians of the island, recruited by the original owners). When Wilfrid accidentally finds out that someone is stealing the old treasures of the island, he needs to find out who, along with the Five.

As they climb into the grounds of the castle to find the stolen treasure, they get locked up in a cellar with the stolen treasure by the thieves. Before the they came back, the Five and Wilfrid used the items inside the cellar and escaped up a "ventilation hole", as described by 🤬 (This is a typical way of escape that Enid Blyton uses). The thieves bewildered, the Five manage to escape the cellar and run to the coast, along with flinging a table at some of the thieves as well. the Five managed to escape the cellar, but as they were tired out, decided to risk sleeping on the island and give up trying to look for WIlfrid's boat (the transportation Wilfrid originally used to get to Whispering Island when the Five (without Wilfrid) got stranded). The men stealing the treasure tried to escape using Wilfrid's boat, Anne and Timmy-dog managed to shoo them away from their boat and the men ended up escaping in their own. After this development, the Five and Wilfrid began to feel excited, and Anne convinced the others to row back to the coast and into Wilfrid's cottage.

Enid Blyton then quickly describes the Five and Wilfrid's day with the police, and skips over to the part where the Famous Five and Wilfrid are right beside the cottage enjoying themselves. Enid Blyton resolves the book happily.

I am currently reading Harry Potter and The Goblet Of Fire (which is the 4th book in the Harry Potter series). At the Qudditch world cup the Dark mark appears. And at Hogwarts The Triwizard Tournament, which has been banned due to high death toll, is once again taking place. The tournament is taken place in between the champions of Durmstrang, Beauxbatons and Hogwarts. The champions are selected by the Goblet Of Fire. On the day the Goblet selected the champions Harry was amazed to find his name in one of those that the magical cup picks out, even though he DID NOT put his name in ...He is going to have to face death defying tasks, Dragons, Merpeople, and many more...and in Hogwarts there are some fishy things going on...At last when Harry with the other champions (Victor Krum for Durmstrang, Fleur Delacour for Beauxbatons and Cedric Diggory for Hogwarts along with Harry) enter into the last and the third task which is to find The Triwizard Cup placed somewhere in the depth of a large maze. But in there when Cedric and Harry touches the cup and got transported somewhere everything seem to go really weird. They ended up in a graveyard which was really familiar for Harry as he had visited this graveyard in his nightmares...There was Peter Pettigrew and a creature which was really ugly. Pettigrew waved his wand and whispered ''Avada Kedavra" and there layed Cedric...dead. Pettigrew draged Harry towards a skeleton holding a long bone as a sword and tied him to it. Pettigrew bought a couldron large enough to hold a man..
Oh!I am not breaking the surprise...Read it yourself.....

It happened suddenly that Harry received a letter from somewhere, which strangely is annoying the Dursleys and they were not allowing Harry to read it. Each day the letters come, on the first day one letter the next day 10 and the next day 50 and it went on that Mr. Dursley drove away somewhere with his family and Harry. Then is the birth of the unforgettable dialogue by Hagrid- Harry -- yer a wizard. Then there were unbelievable thing. The starting of the exploration is when he comes to know about the philosophers stone, which is going to be stolen by the spy at Hogwarts but who?
The amazing book was like an encyclopedia of the wizarding world.

The novel ' Little Women' was written by Louisa May Alcott, a famous american author. Basically, this story is about four sisters of the march family, Jo March, Beth March, Amy March and Meg March. In this story the author writes about the problems and issues that the sisters have to bear, the life of the sisters and how the sisters resolve all the problems in their lives. This was one of the most emotional books I have read. My most sad part of this book, was where Beth March, the third March sister, dies of a disease called scarlet fever. In my opinion , 'Little Women' is a great book, but also tragical and full of twists. Thank you.
- Akshara Nair, 6B

Rowling. It is a story about Harry Potter, an orphan brought up by his aunt and uncle because his parents were killed when he was a baby. Harry is unloved by his uncle and aunt but everything changes when he is invited to join Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and he finds out he's a wizard. At Hogwarts Harry realises he's special and his adventures begin when he and his new friends Ron and Hermione attempt to unravel the mystery of the Philosopher's Stone. I can read this book over and over again. From the very beginning until the end J.K. Rowling has me gripped! There is never a dull moment, whether it's battling with trolls, a three-headed dog, or Harry facing Lord Voldermort. I would definitely recommend this book because it keeps you reading without ever wanting to put the book down. By the end of the book you come to love the characters and you want to read more. You won't be disappointed because the second book in the series, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is just as great! If you haven't read any of the Harry Potter books you are missing out on the best series ever! Gayathri
                                     9th B
                                    Shift !

It is the first and the most reliable study of the country's epic fight for freedom. This classic work begins with the abortive revolt against the British in 1857 and culminates in India's Independence in 1947. Based on years of research as well as personal interviews with hundreds of freedom fighters it presents a lucid and enduring view of the history of the period.
" Indispensable for students and for all those who want to know our past in order to understand the present".

Does A comic count as book? It may or may not. Allow me to introduce you to the wonderful world of Japanese comics.
The art style sets it apart from other comical works. I would suggest a work by Ryosuke Takeuchi and Hikaru Miyoshi. ''Yukoku no Moriarty" or "Moriarty The Patriot." The name Moriarty will be familiar to any Sherlock fan. The story revolves around the antagonist, Sherlock Holmes's Arch nemesis, "James Moriarty." What was Sir Doyle's intention when he created A man, A character whose Intellectual ability was on par with the genius detective's? From ''The study in scarlet'' to the "Final Problem", this story adds to the book, and takes us beyond with what it provides.
It is very entertaining and keeps you curious up to the very end. I would like to applaud the authors for the minute details they found to work upon. What I mean by that is something one can find by exploring the story themselves. The animated adaption is also available.

The Diving Bell And Butterfly

In 1995, Jean-Dominique Bauby was the editor-in-chief of French Elle, the father of two young children, a 44-year-old man known and loved for his wit, his style, and his impassioned approach to life. By the end of the year he was also the victim of a rare kind of stroke to the brainstem. After 20 days in a coma, Bauby awoke into a body which had all but stopped working: only his left eye functioned, allowing him to see and, by blinking it, to make clear that his mind was unimpaired. Almost miraculously, he was soon able to express himself in the richest detail: dictating a word at a time, blinking to select each letter as the alphabet was recited to him slowly, over and over again. In the same way, he was able eventually to compose this book.

The Diving Bell is the physical state that Bauby refers to himself, a prisoner of Locked In Syndrome. The Butterfly is his mind that flutters about his past and his present, something that he delights in occupying, despite the betrayal of his body. The two states meet in the pages of this extraordinary book. It is a hugely optimistic book, and a remarkable achievement in itself. The Diving Bell and the Butterfly was dictated letter by letter with only the blink of an eye. Each blink pointing to a letter, recorded by his assistant. Bauby spent the nights composing, learning and editing his sentences and chapters. This endeavour makes it moving in itself, and is a draw to this reader.

The Diving Bell and the Butterfly is a series of short chapters, each a separate memory or event, and Bauby’s reflections haunt the pages. The book could be read in a matter of hours, however, rather like poetry, I wonder if there is merit in savouring each chapter on its own, like you would a poem. Bauby’s writing is glorious, with several sentences that had me gasping. Sentences like:

“we can linger here until nightfall and watch the sun set and the lighthouse take up the torch, its hope-filled beams sweeping the horizon,”

The Diving Bell and the Butterfly is told with pathos, humour and everything else in between. It is profound and humbling. The Diving Bell and the Butterfly is a recipe for appreciating the small things, of seizing the moments, and making the most of whatever there is.
The Diving Bell and the Butterfly is a small book, with a huge heart.

Zia George

XI A

Now I am reading the book 'LIE DOWN WITH LIONS '....The author of this book is Ken Follett....

Lie Down with Lions is a 1985 spy novel by Ken Follett. Made into a 1994 TV series, it follows Jane Lambert, an English interpreter living in 1981 Paris, who dates Ellis Thaler, oblivious that he is a spy for the CIA. When Lambert, an idealistic woman who supports pacifism and revolutionary liberation politics, finds out Ellis’s real occupation, she leaves him to date a French doctor, Dr. Jean-Pierre Debout. She decides to follow his career to Afghanistan, where they will ostensibly give medical aid to a village of rebels uniting against the invasive Soviet regime. When she finds that Jean-Pierre is a Soviet spy, she is horrified. When she investigates, she finds that he has been providing medical aid to the rebels while giving the Russians more intel to kill them off. Traumatized and caught in the middle of these two diametrically opposed men who want to kill each other, she tries to reclaim some of her agency and keep them from destroying themselves or each other.

The novel begins in Paris during the last decade of the Cold War. Lambert lives in a small flat and dates Ellis, whom she believes is an American anti-war activist and pacifist who makes money as a writer. Lambert starts the novel confident that she will soon marry Ellis and live a fulfilling life in political activism. One day, he lets slip that he is a covert CIA agent working to collect intelligence on Russian operations in Paris and the rest of Europe. Despite her knowledge that he truly loves her, Lambert is outraged at his deceit and his distorted moral system. She leaves him immediately, itching to restart her life.

After her split from Ellis, Lambert meets Dr. Jean-Pierre Debout, seemingly by chance, in Paris (later events question whether it was chance). After falling quickly in love, she agrees to marry him, following him to Afghanistan to aid Soviet rebels. During this time, she becomes comfortable in the town, making a number of Afghan friends. After a couple of months, she realizes she is pregnant, and then gives natural birth to a daughter that the couple names Chantal. Soon after the birth, Lambert makes the horrific discovery about Jean-Pierre’s affiliation with the Soviet Union’s KGB. His real agenda in their Afghan town is to acquire intel on the operations of the rebels, feeding it back to military officials so they can squelch any revolutionary fronts before they erupt. Within this agenda, his core directive is to find a way to assassinate the rebels’ leader Masud.

Lambert agonizes over how to respond to the revelation about Jean-Pierre. She knows she has an obligation to stop him from killing the Afghans whom she now calls her friends, but she still loves him despite the treachery, and doesn’t want to disturb the life of her child. Making matters worse, Ellis appears in the town, on a mission to forge an alliance between Masud and a number of other rebel groups in Afghanistan. Ellis tries to collect the signatures of different rebel leaders to forge a formal pact of solidarity to increase the revolution’s cohesion and network. He is unaware of Jean-Pierre’s KGB affiliation, who tries to sabotage the alliance, but fails. After the failed sabotage, Jean-Pierre leaves Lambert and his child on a temporary but extended KGB mission. During this time, a jaded Lambert and lost Ellis reunite and express their love.

One day, the KGB launches a military assault on the town. Lambert and Ellis manage to detonate a bomb on the bridge that the military vehicles are passing over, thwarting them. Knowing they can no longer safely stay lest their identities be broadly known to Russia, they escape Afghanistan with Chantal via a maze of mountain passes known as the Butter Trail. KGB helicopters pass overhead, searching for them, and they learn that some of the Afghans they meet are working for the Soviets. Meanwhile, Jean-Pierre’s character evolves, becoming increasingly psychotic and malignant as it is illuminated that his fanaticism for destroying the rebels and US allies stems from the violent persecution of his Communist father. As they pass through small towns looking for resources, Follett draws a realistic account of rural mountainous Afghan life: insular but at the same time, vulnerable to instabilities in the region, and lacking solidarity and trust.

Eventually, the couple and the child make it out of Afghanistan and return home. Having now reconciled her previously strictly idealist vision of the future with the realities of the complex moral systems that all individuals harbor, Lambert settles with Ellis, recognizing his good nature. The end of the novel leaves the couple’s future ambiguous as the Cold War continues to unfold in neighboring lands, its reverberations heard everywhere in Europe.

By Roshni.L, Class 9 C

He was born as a common boat owner's son in a small village but he grew up to become one of the best scientists of not just India but of the world. He writes about his early days as a child and his later achievements. In this book he takes us into a great detail of his life.He says a great deal about his work and explains a lot about his projects.I strongly say that it should be read by each and every Indian.
Thank you,
Nakshathra J Sanoj, Class 6 B

Archimedes was a Greek scientist. He lives in Syracuse nearly 200 years ago. The King of the land wanted to wear a Golden Crown. He gave some gold to a goldsmith to make a suitable crown. After few days, the goldsmith brought the finished crown to the King. The crown was weighed. The weight of the crown was equal to the gold given to the goldsmith by the King. The King looked at the color of the crown.

He had a suspicion. The goldsmith could have stolen some gold from the gold given to him. The King wanted to find out the truth. He asked his court scientist Archimedes to find out. The King said, “Find out how much gold had been stolen?"

How to find out the truth? Archimedes thought about the problem day and night. One day he was about to have his bath, but he was busy thinking. He did not notice the bathtub. The water in the bathtub was already full to the brim. He slid into the bathtub. Immediately a large quantity of water flowed over the brim of the bath tub. He noticed this suddenly. His brain wave worked suddenly. He jumped out of the bathtub, shouting, “Eureka! Eureka!" Eureka in Greek means “I have found it."

Different metals of the same weight have different volumes. Objects, put in water, will displace water. The displaced water will be equal to their volume.

For example, an iron cube weighing a kilogram will disperse some water. But an aluminums cube of the same weight will displace more water than the iron cube.

Archimedes knew all these theories. Using this as the basic knowledge, Archimedes worked out a plan to find out the purity of the crown.

Archimedes took two bowls. He filled them with water to the brim. Then he placed each bowl separately in the middle of the large vessels. He placed the crown in one bowl. Water overflowed. It collected at the bottom of the outer vessel. Then he took a cube of pure gold. This cube of gold was equal in weight to the crown. He kept this gold cube in the middle of the second bowl. Here also water overflowed. Water got collected at the bottom of the outer bowl.

Archimedes then measured the quantity of water in the two vessels. He found out the difference in the water overflow. The crown had sent out more water. The cube of gold had sent out less water. But both the crown and the gold cube were of the same weight. So, they should have sent out the same quantity of water. Therefore, the crown had some other metals mixed in it. These metals took up more space in the water than pure gold.

Archimedes reported this finding to the King. The King demanded the truth from the goldsmith. The goldsmith then confessed. He had stolen some gold. He had added some other metals.

By.Gayathri A M, class.6 B
Shift 1st

It not only inculcates in you, the right and unbiased perspective of observing and knowing your own self as well as the entire creation but also teaches you how to handle that knowledge acquired through such observance.
Human Life Is Full Of Battles: Never Shirk In fear – Fight To The Last, Stand Your Ground. The Supreme Power has created an even human being in a separate way – or will we say, Everyone is a MASTERPIECE. When every action you do turns negative against your goal, do not shirk in fear. Do not expect results.Reading Bhagavad Gita will surely help you to know every aspect of yourself. It is very crucial to living life in more meaningful ways. Therefore, you will be able to work based on who you are. Besides, Bhagavad Gita tells us in detail about how we are made up of five different elements. Also, it helps us to realize the importance and use of those elements in our bodies. And, the book encourages us to find the proper purpose of our body in society.

Arav.V
11D
shift-1

This is an important mythological story of India. Written by Maharshi Vedavyasa. This book is about the rivalry of Pandavas and Kauravas in the Kurukshetra war. This book contains a lot of ' dharma', which we want. and this story ends with a war named Kurukshetra war (Dharma udham). This story consists of kings, queens, god, demons etc. The stories of Mahabharata exemplify the underlting dicussion of four human goals: artha(purpose), dharma(truth), and moksha(liberation). This story consists of so many characters like Krishna(lord Vishnu), Yudishtira(son of dharma), Arjuna( the unparallel archer), Duryodhana( driven by overarching ambitions), Draupadi( the women who have faced so many pain in life, brave and wife of five Pandavas.) and Sakuni (the one who is responsible for the Kurukshtra war). Even though his story is no specified real but this is one of the greatest epic of all time!!
So, I'm recommending this book for all dear friends to know about our myth.

Name- TRITIYA J VINOD
Class- VIII.C
K.V.

It is absolutely thrilling and certainly a 5 star read . It starts off with Pippa Fitz Amobi, a high school student who happened to know Sal Singh, the accused murderer of Andie bell . Andie's body was never found and the police found Sal's dead body in the woods with a text on his screen where he 'admitted he killed her' . However, Pippa never fully believed this as she knew him for a long time. So when a high school project rolls around, she use it as an excuse to dig into the murder case with the help of the accused murderer's brother. While going through this journey, she finds herself in messy situations with lots of suspects among which ,some are the people whom she holds closest to her heart, the chaotic life of Andie bell , death threats and losing a pet to the killer . Will she find out the truth? will she fail? Would Sal be in the wrong after all that effort? Is Andie alive? These are the questions I pondered while reading this. There are many unexpected plot twists in the book which kept me gripped to it. I found myself panting while reading many stressful situations in the book. As I mentioned earlier, this is definitely one of the best books I have ever read. But there are a few trauma warnings and I won't recommend this to people who don't enjoy realistic thrillers or just young adult books in general. The reading level 🎚️ according to me is 12+

He is a half dog and half human supa cop. It's the first book which describes the journey of how Dog Man was created and how he slowly became the best cop in the world.

The arch nemesis of Dog Man is Petey the cat. Its a fun filled ride of chaos created by Petey and how Dog Man always ends up in the middle of it. Dog Man escaped every trouble he got into in the weirdest ways possible. I thoroughly enjoyed book and it took me just one hour to finish the book. I highly recommend this book for children and adults who enjoy action and comedy.
