These are the steps involved in the production of furniture. In the first stage of the process, the products are being developed and designed then, using a computer-aided program to cut the wood. The pre-cut wood pieces will then be assembled followed by sanding of rough edges. The next step which is the slowest part of the process is to paint the wood using a brush or spray. An upholsterer then cuts out patterns from a fabric by using a hand or machine which creates upholstery products such as seats or cushions. Before being distributed, the products are being cleaned up followed by a final inspection which is identified any flawed product. If there is a flawed product, it will be sent to an appropriate department for repair. Overall, the diagram shows that the furniture people have at their homes have gone through complicated production process, despite how simple they may look.

This diagram shows the seven main stages of the furniture manufacture production chain. Firstly the products are being developed and design, then by using computer-aided program to cut the wood. Next, the pre-cut woods are being assembled and rough edges are sanded here. The next stage is finishing stage and also the slowest process is painting / staining the wood. Then, continued by upholstery stage which cut out patterns from fabric by hand or machine to create upholstery products such as seats, cushions, etc. After that, products are being cleaned from dust followed by final inspection to identify any flawed product if there is any, it will be sent to appropriate department for repair. The diagram shown are a description of the steps on manufacturing furniture. The initial stage of the process is for designing and developing the product itself before a computer-aided program proceeds to cut the wood, afterward the pre-cut woods are being sent for assembly and sanded on their sharp edges. Then, the painting/staining of the wood through brush or spray which are the slowest part of the process are being done, continued by upholstery or the cutting of fabric patterns through hand or machine for creating seats and cushions. Before the products are being sent to the inspection department which will be checking for flawed products to be sent back to the appropriate department, it will first be received by the final preparation department where all the products are being cleaned and dust beforehand. After all those process that are being properly conducted, products that are qualified to be sold are then packaged and are distributed to customers. As easy as the process are being told, the detailed work that are done by humans or machines are a part of a long intricate process prepared for the satisfaction of the customers.
