<title>Can the District send home a letter explaining this whole process to the parents? There have been parents already asking why their child isn&#39;t getting AIS help now. With the Data Team not meeting until after Open House, this could become a hot topic at Open House. </title>

<title>A major focus last year was blended learning and personalized learning. In two particular settings, students at all levels were able to receive instruction at their level. (including high, middle, and low students) Data backed this model and was shared out numerous times in several settings. Why after one year are we &quot;throwing&quot; out a program/model that worked? </title>

<title>My question: was the new Blended Learning model, which was a HUGE push last year, considered when all of these changes were made in late August? We spent a ton of time developing this learning model into our math program, had data to back up how successful it was (for ALL learning levels) had other schools come to visit and see it in action and now it feels and appears that it is being tossed by the wayside. I am saddened that something so effective and well received by students, parents, teachers, administrators and board members isn&#39;t being considered a successful form of intervention for all kids. </title>

<title>Why are we told to differentiate and fit the needs to our students, when we are only using standardized tests (the same test) to test students. It seems to me that as the years go on, our degree and experience are being thrown waste side and kids are being determined by tiers through tests and not from what we know what works and they need. ALL kids deserve small groups, whether it be for MATH/READING/etc. Seems like early intervention for our kiddos is being diminished due to paperwork and tests. </title>

<title>Research has shown that a powerful model for AIS is co-teaching. Many surrounding districts use this model.... however, it seems that RTI is moving us away from that? If providers have to pull during that time, or provide a skills lesson not pertinent to the content being taught in the classroom; then co-teaching is non-existent. So, why are we going against best practices? </title>
