         <description><![CDATA[<div>McToad Mows Tiny Island by Tom Angleberger and John Hendrix.<br>I had previously used this book in another way, but this year I saw how helpful it was to add a number grid component. Each activity in the book walked us up to “10” and then we reversed the steps back to “1.” Students had out their numbers we printed from our Frogstreet curriculum and we worked with placing the numbers in order and then counting backwards. Kids love this book.&nbsp; It has great potential for connections with coding, sequence, and retelling.&nbsp;<br>These GELDS could be a focus with this book:</div><div>CD-MA1.4a, CD-MA1.4f, CCL4.4c, CCl5.4b, CD-SS5.4a</div>]]></description>

         <title>Sink or Float Science Experiment </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>I decided to do a Live Science Experiment during virtual learning and my students loved it. I used this as an intro into science and understand the experiment process. I created a PowerPoint to help them understand the steps you take during a experiment ( make sure to use the right vocabulary)  we did that the day before.&nbsp;<br>For experiment you will need .&nbsp;<br>1 container that can hold water&nbsp;<br>5 items that can either float or sink(these are the items I included in the PowerPoint so that we could build hypothesis.)<br>1 document camera that is the one thing that made this experiment possible.&nbsp;<br><br>CD-SC1.4d ,&nbsp;<strong><em>CD-SC4.4c, CD-SC1.4b</em></strong></div>]]></description>
