During my games I always struggled and never made any of my shots. Instead of giving up I set a goal and practiced everyday. Soon I became the best player on the team and we won a championship.

I had just turned from an elementary schooler to a middle schooler.  While I was in math class there was a really hard concept that I did not understand called ratios. I was getting bad grades every day until I decided that this had to change. I went home and worked out every problem related to ratios in my math book. When I went back to school the next day and took the final ratio test, I got a 100.
