He also talks about the closeness that can exist between musicians in a band. The way that i was interpreting his argument of closeness, and i may be wrong, is that closeness is how well the music all flows together. How the different parts that make up a song all seem to come together and play with each there, combing to make one perfect song. And with musicians, it's how well they are able to play with each other and well they compliment each other. He talks about Paul McCartney and John Lennon and well their voices come together to create such cool sounds.
