Steps:
1. Turn the knob of the toy a few times
2. Place the toy on the floor and watch it move around! Cute!
Explain:
When I turn the knob, the chemical potential energy stored in my fingers converts to kinetic energy of my fingers
It is converted to kinetic energy of the knob and is converted to elastic potential energy of the spring attached to the knob. When I released the toy on the floor, the potential energy stored in the wound-up spring is converted to kinetic energy and heat energy (due to frictional force) and sound energy of the moving toy. The toy eventually stops as all the kinetic energy has been converted to heat and sound energy.

Steps:

Explain:When I place the ball up high,it has gravitational potential energy. When I drop the ball,gravitational potential energy is converted to kinetic energy so it moves. When it reach the ground,kinetic energy is converted to sound and heat energy due to friction,so the ball will eventually stop. The ball also bounces because it is made of rubber.

Slingshot(sorry i have a slingshot at home but didnt know how to post it(lol) )
The longer the rubber band is when you pull it, there will be more elastic potential energy(epe).Then when you let go, the EPE will then be converted into kinetic energy.As the thing u attach to the slingshot travels through the air,it will lose some of its kinetic energy due to the air surrounding it and it will fall to the ground due to the pull of gravity.There is also a very tiny bit of heat produced when the thing is travelling through

There was elastic potential energy stored in the springs of the tire of the toy car. The elastic potential energy was then converted into kinetic energy when the toy car is pushed down. (I could not find anything different) An electronic fan has chemical potential energy (battery) which is converted to electrical energy to power the fan and it becomes kinetic and sound energy in the fan then kinetic energy in the moving air to provide wind. How to make and use a handmade catapult steps:
1.Cut the bottom third off a cereal box.
2.Push a sharp pencil right through the box to make a pair of holes. Make another hole in the middle of the low side.
3. To make a catapult arm, make a cross out of two pencils and loop a rubber band around them to hold them in place.
4.Tape a shallow, plastic bottle lid to the bottom of the cross. Cut a rubber band and tie one end of it to the top of the cross
5.Fit the arms of the cross into the pair of holes you made.Push a sharp pencil right through the box above them and leave it there.
6.Push the end of the cut rubber band through the hole in the low side and pull it tight. Tie the end around a piece of drinking straw.
7.Make some balls of crumpled paper. Pull back the bottle lid, place a ball on top and let it go.
The Energy Conversion
When we pull back the catapult arm, the rubber band stores elastic potential energy. When we let go, the elastic potential energy stored in the rubber band will be converted to kinetic energy in the balls of crumpled paper.

When I push the toy down, the chemical potential energy stored in my fingers is converted to kinetic energy.

The kinetic energy pushed the toy up in the air, and some is converted to gravitational potential energy, and when the toy cannot go up any higher, the gravitational potential energy is converted back to kinetic energy. STEPS:Hold the center tube and the carousel top. You should be able to hold both at the same time with one hand. With your other hand, wind up the toy by twisting the straw and rubber band.Let go of the carousel. It should spin quickly! Wind it up and spin again.

How to make:

print template on plain paper or cardstock. Color the carousel and top as desired.
Cut the paper template along the bold lines. Fold along dashed lines. Set aside.
Drill a ¼” diameter hole through the center of the plastic lid. (Adults only) If you don’t have a drill bit that large you can rotate the drill slowly as you make the hole to enlarge it.
Thread your straw through the rubber band and knot. Pull the loose end of the rubber band through the plastic tube. If you are using a narrow tube you can push the band through the tube using a toothpick.
Thread the rubber band though the hole in the bottom of the lid, thread a paper clip through the rubber band, and tape the clip to the inside of the lid.
Wrap the carousel template around the plastic lid. Tape the paper together to form a circle, then tape lower part of the template to the bottom of the lid. Add the paper top to the carousel and secure in place with glue.

-Making procedure
1. Arrange the sticks as shown below

Explanation
When the rubber band is put onto the gun, the stretched rubber band possesses elastic potential energy. [ Energy Conversion ]
When the bolt is pulled back and push forward, kinetic energy pushes a spring back within a compression chamber.
