I believe that a big part of the reason why people are intimidated by life insurance is because there are so many different types to choose from and it can become very stressful.
I am one of the people who is very intimidated by insurance because I know it can bite you in the end if you dont choose the correct type for what you need. As we know many people need insurance but live a very unhealthy life with smoking, substances, a dangerous job etc. but everyone still needs some kind of life insurance if they have a family. Their website has very clear, well broken down information about the different types of insurance they provide. 
Personally Sunlife is my insurance provider for my car and also provided me with renters insurance when I lived on my own. They are also who my parents have insuring their home that I currently live in. They are fast and reliable and provide amazing customer service.
