In some articles feminism in the middle east is portrayed  as something that is meant to liberate women and free them from oppression, while in others it talks about how feminism in the middle east differs from the western point of view. The western point of view being that women in the middle east are under subjugation.

Feminism differs, considering different races, socio-economic background, and cultures.
The western definition of feminism should not be universal.
 
3. I’ve always been interested and passionate on the topic of feminism, especially feminism from an Islamic point of view. 
4. in the short term I don’t believe much will happen as the conversation is just starting, but in the long term when more light has been shed on the situation we will start see changes.
