I graduated from Hanyang University, Seoul in B.Sc. Electronics and Communications Engineering in 2013.

Currently, I am working as Senior Analyst - Global Trade Content at Thomson Reuters. My job is basically to research and analyze global trade data in related to import/export information from government and compile into our company's online global trade management platform for our clients all over the world.
In other words, I am working in supply chains/logistics industry but I have always been interested in moving my career path into a new area, and statistics would be my new interest.

My expectation is that, since I have no statistics background and this is my first semester here, I hope I can do well in this course, learn many new things, and graduate in time.
Especially while working full time and having a small family to take care of.

My name is Shamini A/P M Arumugam.I graduated from University Malaysia Terengganu in BSc Financial Mathematics in 2016.

Currently I'm working in a bank in Cyberjaya. I always wanted to be a lecturer since my school days. During my degree, I had taken both the math and statistics subject. Since my interest is more towards statistics, I decided to further my studies in this field.

It's quite challenging for me to take master while working full time. However, I decided to give it a try. I believe that "Where there's a will, there's a way".
