Le cours est divisé en une phase de réflexion individuelle, d'échanges ente partenaires ou en petits groupes puis d'une mutalisation. On commence par une phase de travail individuel pendant laquelle tous les élèves ont l'occasion de réfléchir seuls au sujet et de prendre des notes.. Ensuite, a lieu une phase d'échanges, à plusieurs. Lors de cette phase, on présente des réflexions personnelles, on rassemble des généralités, on trouve des différences et des questions ouvertes. Puis, on arrête la définition du projet.
Consignes pour les élèves 1. Je note mes propres réflexions/idées sur le sujet                                                                        2. J'échange mes idées avec mes camarades de mon groupe 
                                          3. Nous identifiions nos points d'accord et de désaccord sur le projet dans la 3e version du placemat "enrichi" lors d'un travail de réflexion mené avec Cyril Lascassies et Sylvain Connac en formation de formateurs.trices
