         <title>Anther and Filament of a Stamen</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The stamen as a whole is the male reproductive part of a flower and is made up of the anther and filament. The filament is almost a stem-like structure to support the anther, the pollen producing part of the stamen. Inside of the flower you can clearly see the anther, filament, and the pollen created on the sides of the petals.</div>]]></description>

         <title>C3 Plant</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>C3 plants use a carbon fixation with a C3 molecule only. These plants keep their stomata open all day and closed at night and typically are able to survive better in cooler climates with regular precipitation.          <title>CAM Plant</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>CAM plants are mostly found in hot, dry climates. During the day, CAM plants keep their stomata closed to avoid losing water. Then, at night, they open their stomata to take in CO2. Most succulents, like aloe(pictured below), are CAM plants.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Cambium</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Cambium is the plant tissue that makes up a secondary layer of protection for the plant. The two layers of cambium are cork cambium and vascular cambium. The lighter colored material inside of the bark is the cork cambium and the darker, thinner line of material is the vascular cambium of this tree.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Cellulose is a polysaccharide found in the cell walls for structural support of the cell/plant. Plant fibers, like flax and cotton, are excellent sources of cellulose but can also be found in all plant cell walls. Below is a plant with an especially strong stem which exemplifies the structural support that cellulose gives.</div>]]></description>

         <title>Commensalism</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Commensalism is the relationship between two species where they can benefit one another, but the species are neutral to one another. The relationship between the tree lichen(green, flowery growth) and the tree is an example of commensalism. The lichen does not draw nutrients from the tree because of photosynthesis, and the trees are nothing but used as places for lichens to grow.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The cuticle layer of the plant is a layer on top of the epidermal cells of plants to keep water from escaping and drying the plant. This layer is waxy and water repellent because of the presence of the substance, cutin. The picture shows the cuticle layer's water repellant ability.</div>]]></description>
