extracurriculars. I was hoping to try out for our school's swim team this year as well as the school play, but because of our circumstances with everything shut down I was not able to do either of these things. The pandemic has left me worried for what the future holds. I am hoping that we can get back to normal within the coming fall but that is never a set prediction. I have lost a lot of motivation to do my school-work because of online schooling, and I have been isolated since we cannot really go out and do much. My family has always told me that I need to look at other options besides an English teacher, and once my brother did the same, I started to become very interested in journalism. It's not just reporting, you can be a radio personality, or doing the weather in the mornings. According to the painting, the colored children and white children stand apart from each other due to the wariness they have of the new presence of black people in the predominantly white society.
