Often multilingual learners can get to the answer in a different way than what we would expect, (a different method or approach) by advancing student thinking through questioning while exploring this process others can learn from their approach and see that it too is correct, etc.

Especially in math, students can believe there is one way to do a problem or one right answer. Allowing freedom to come to answers their own way and guiding to bigger concepts is beneficial.
