Another barrier is not knowing who may arrive any given week as it can be difficult to plan. Something else getting in the way relates to concerns regarding confidentiality and privacy for students who attend in person. Are they comfortable being "on camera" in someone else's home potentially? How do we maintain privacy and comfort to ensure everyone is able to have open conversations, particularly around sensitive issues?     For ACV, for the most part, anything other than in-person delivery removes the actual workplace experience. The only element which we replicate while doing things remotely is selftapes - where actors have to record themselves at home to submit auditions. Otherwise actors need to be in the same space. In fact, even trying to work with masks on, while being in-person, still removes elements of communication which are crucial.]]>     2021-11-25 20:36:06 UTC https://padlet.com/marando_marianne/Question3/wish/1913206551     In order to offer true hybrid or flexible learning that has the same relevance and meaning for whatever delivery method you are using, you would need to create three different lesson plans for each class. This is prohibitive (in person, online and asynchronous). Also, when you don't know how many (if any students) are coming to class vs online vs asynchronous it makes it very hard for flow. I have been teaching in hyflex for 2 year before the pandemic and it was challenging for that reason. Students who were at home or doing it asynchronously felt they were not as part of the class.
