FATİH project is a project that the Ministry of National Education started to implement it in all schools in the 2013-2014 academic year. This project tries to increase the use of technology in schools and adapt education to today's conditions. But unfortunately computer infrastructure in our schools was also provided by previous projects, but its use didn't yield sufficient results. The reason for this, can be explained as the problems in informing teachers about how to integrate computers into their lessons, the large number of students in the classrooms, the fact that there is only one information and education technology room in schools, and the lack of computer technical support at the desired level.

There are some common teacher, student, parents and cultur-based problems in the East part of our country. There is a lack of interest from parents. There is a problem of insufficient material. It is necessary to reduce the number of students per teacher. On the other hand, the problem of access to education and accommodation further increases the lack of education in the east.

The Ministry of National Education of Turkey tried to apply performance degrees and sufficiency tests in every 4 years for teachers but this trial caused teachers to revolt against the ministry of national education. In addition to revolts, the results of the attempts to try these performance degrees and sufficiency tests in pilot cities was not adequate. Because of these reasons the Ministry of national education of Turkey stepped back.

Doğan Journalism and Contemporary Life Support Association launched the "Dad, Send Me to School" project in 2005. The purpose of this project is to provide all Turkish young girls with equitable access to education. The organization set up schools in the villages as well as constructed dorms for girls and awarded them scholarships. Over 300.000 people have donated to the cause. Over 35 million Turkish Liras have been donated by these donors. We can see that this programme has helped a sizable number of Turkish girls receive the education and necessities they require.

Apart from departmants such as medicine students cannot receive practical training in our country.That is why they have a lot of difficulty in their work processes after graduation.Yet the education system in abroad is based on practice.Not only higher education abroad,but also education from the first stages of learning is intertwined with life.Practical education is way more interactive than theoratical.It does not involve just teaching and lecturing irrespective of whether the students is able to understand the concepts or not.Learning is the fundamental purpose of education,so in order to improve the learning level more importance should be given to practical education rather than theory.

As 21st century learners we inevitably encounter technology in every aspect of our lives but our teachers especially the older ones did not encounter technology as they were students. Because of this some teachers find technological devices which are used in education complex and useless. The technology classes in universities can teach how to use technology in classes but these classes have been added recently. As for the older teachers there are a lot of seminars about how to use technology in classes effectively. With these seminars every teacher can learn about technology and its advantages in education.

CEİD (toplumsal cinsiyet eşitliğinin izlenmesi derneği) has a comprehensive education program about these topics and it is financed by European Union.
