We choose this grievous because it sounded unique and interesting. We also choose it because it had to do with the King being unfair and having army in the towns without any war.

This source is really short but has a lot of evidence that we can use. It was talking about the standing armies only to which helped instead of having other stuff about the declaration of independence.

I bet it made them scared and worried that the British man could gun them down any second or do something else that wasn't right to them. It also made them feel like the King was preparing for a war.
