We should establish a friendly and thankful relationship with G*d in the sense that we look at him for help.
Sam- This prayer tells us about G*d and his power and love for us. It also shows that we should live in harmony with the rest of nature and celebrate G*d's boundless love with everyone.

B)
Lyssa- G*d creation process is hardworking and thorough. Everything that is exists in the present, future and past is because of G*d. G*d creation process is so thorough that it does not lack anything and it is utterly perfect.
Sam- G*d's creation process is unique and well thought out. The order of which he brings about His creations is very smart. For example, he creates light and darkness at the same time and divides the land into "earth" and "sea" together so that it would make sense to us as humans.

For example day and night. This pattern and repetition enforces that nothing is missing for the world and God’s creation.
Sam- A pattern that I noticed was G*d continuously repeats the phrase "Let there be..." before each creation is made. After he uses these words, whatever he wishes for comes to a reality. This shows the true power of G*d's words.

The repetition also reinforces what G*d has created and the way in which he created the world. It reinforces the fact that the perfect world and the world as we know it was created by G*d.

Sam- I think that this repetition is emphasizing G*d's power and how he can do impossible acts with ease. Patterns reinforce our beliefs and the story of Genesis does this throughout it. I believe that these specific words are used for the purpose of understanding the immense power that G*d carries.

Understanding this proves our own connection with G*d because we walk the earth that he created. We are also individually created by G*d giving us the greatest connection of all.
Sam- The story of Genesis shows just how much G*d cares for and loves us. He was able to create our whole earth and everything on it out of the warmth of his heart. This shows that our relationship with God is based around love and care for the other. G*d's power was not used against us, but to make our lives better and strengthen our relationship with Him.

His unconditional faith and love is clearly proven in his utterly perfect creation of the world.
Sam- I believe that this story is to show us that God's focus was on us throughout his creation. The creation stories sets a foundation by explaining how we are related to G*d.
-Sam: The creation stories give life meaning for humans because it shows how much God cares for us.

F)
-Lyssa: I think that atheists and agnostics would have a hard time understanding and believing these creations stories. I believe these stories would be hard for atheists and agnostics to understand these stories because there is not factual or scientific evidence and proof, but rather faith. I do think that if the atheists and agnostics were to be opened minded they would see the wisdom and insight in human conditions. These stories contain wisdom by explaining the creation of human life. The explanation also provides insight in human condition because helps us understand the we are all related to one another and G*d.
-Sam: I think these stories would be hard to understand or believe for someone who is not of a religious background. Because they do not know the extent of God's love, I believe that these Genesis stories would be disregarded by atheists or those without faith. However, it is important that humans are made from dust and to dust they will return and I think that that is easily understood by anyone.

-Lyssa: My parents teach me how to live in "right relations" to self, others and to all the earth, through their life choices and actions. Through taking care of my brother and me, my parents are able to teach me how to live in “right relations.” They work so hard to send my brother and me to school, which proves their selflessness. They continuously always no what is best, even when I do not understand. My parents do so many generous acts without being asking. They still find time to take care of themselves proves their own self love. My parents are strong and do not complain. They help the environment by recycle, taking care of plants, and picking up trash. My parents are the best role models for living and teaching me how to live in “right relations.”
-Sam: I believe that St. Madeline Sophie Barat taught and continue to teaches all Sacred Heart students how to live in "right relations" with our peers and with the earth. Her examples of kindness, hard work, and devotion to God have inspired many people around the world. St. Madeline Sophie's actions displayed her selfless character through helping the poor, teaching young women in a time where that was rare and frowned upon, and living out God's word everyday. Today, the Sacred Heart network continues to thrive under her example and five goals. Her leadership and passion has been a huge part of my life as a student at Stone Ridge.

A)
-Lyssa: Although humans are imperfect and sin, being created (or to live) in "the image of G*d” means to strive for perfection utter respect towards ourselves, others, and all of God’s creations. To be created by God develops my connection and relationship to God and others. If we are all created by God, then we are all related and are brothers and sisters.
-Sam: To live through the image of God is to appreciate all that he has given us and continue to live instilling love within others along with yourself. We must remember that God has created us for a reason and that His love is boundless. The endless give that he has given to us surround us everyday through our peers, neighbors, families, nature, and more.

B)
-Lyssa: To live in “the image of G*d” means to advocate for nonviolence, promote peace, and continuously help others. We should strive to develop “right relations.” We should also spread love by admiring ourselves and the world around us.
-Sam: I try to live through God's image by my actions. Helping and caring for others is what I strive to do everyday because I know that is what God wants from me. Along with that, taking care of the earth that He has given us is very important. I try to protect it by making sure to recylce and compost when I can. Hopefully through these actions I am living in Go
