• Choose a theme from the Genially document

• Students work in pairs to rank the 10 items from the board

• They must agree on the order : discussion, negotiation, and make concessions 

• After a few minutes, do a Top 3 Best and Top 3 Worst

• Fun, fast, and low-pressure speaking practice

• Encourages vocabulary use, giving opinions, and collaboration

Differenciation

• Give sentence starters (e.g. “I think…”, “Let’s choose…”, “Do you agree?”)

• Use pictures instead of words

• Give cards to move and rank

• Students work in pairs and choose who is Student A and Student B

• Student A describes the image in English for 15 minutes while Student B draws, then they switch roles and Student B describes their image while Student A draws.

• Preposition help available through the “i” icon if needed

• Have students vote for the most detailed drawing.

  • Stronger students could explain why they think that.

  • Stronger students could invent a title for the image. 

• Quick writing routine at the start of each class.

• Prompts vary: short texts, choices or images.

• Builds fluency, confidence, and creativity.
