         <title>The Stamp Act</title>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Stamp Act was repealed on March 18, 1766. This helped to pay for the British soldiers in the colonies when the Seven Year's War was taking place. So this meant that the British colonists had to pay taxes, and many of the printed materials had to have a stamp on it.</div>]]></description>
