         <title>Children use bedtime as a time to &quot;brain dump&quot; before bed to regulate themselves a bit like an adult might like to journal before bed to take things off their minds. Being mindful of this has helped me reduce my stress of how long bedtimes can take! </title>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>On advice of the sleep specialist from healthy families team we utilised a food and activity diary to determine if there were certain foods/activities which prevented a calm (and shorter) bedtime that worked with our schedules. </p><p>This, with advice on foods for helping sleep (bananas were good for us) helped to reduce stress and bedtime! </p>]]></description>
