Helen Zia has always been so inspirational to me. I love her focus on storytelling and teaching students that we can make a movement out of this current moment. 

Online learning has been especially challenging for my students. They have added challenges of lower socio-economic and family burdens. It was already a challenge for them to meet the academic requirements during school closure. And yet, I think a focus on social justice could be so empowering and inspiring for them. My school is thinking about providing some anti-racist lessons a few times during the school week.

My burning question: what are other schools doing to provide anti-racist curriculum to their students?

-I would like to introduce the 17 SDGs to students and have them choose one goal that could help their community, then can be scaled to help other places/countries.

- To cope with this difficulty, I can provide the pupils in my classroom with several vocabulary cards, mini dictionaries, Online resources with free WiFi Hotspot Locations, Online interactive 1-to-1 tutorial, and to invite parents to learn Chinese Language with the pupils all together after school for a short time.
- Challenges: pupils are experiencing poverty in the school district so they do not have enough time to complete assignments at home and/or review course materials at home due to help housework and/or look after their siblings.

This session was so inspiring and I appreciated the focus on implicit bias. My school is in the process of determining some meaningful professional development for this school year including a focus on anti-racist curriculum for staff and students. I am excited to be in touch with L.  Song Richardson to hopefully bring her to my school to do a training on implicit bias.

The school year is going to be so challenging and taxing for staff. - It is really inspiring to see the whole project of chinese workers constructing rails in the U.S. I am really interested in inviting students to dig deeper into the ethnic group they are interested in and introduce a skill (research) or lens for them to practice. Probably also try to compare with the more modern experience to see the uniqueness and commonality.

When the diseases become pandemic, then more and more populations are isolated at home. In order to continue to work and learn from home, Remote working, teaching, and learning may gradually become the main stream working, teaching, and learning type in the 22nd Century Education. (1.) More and more populations might have to become a manager, developer, self-learner, and so on for themselves. (2.) More and more populations may have to cultivate and invest themselves and so on. (3.) Also, the future business, economic, and financial changes may directly and indirectly change the world population's life style.
