Remember that you can find your student e-book in your resources.  Enter the e-book and click the contents tab.  That will display the 6 units.  Click on Unit 5 and go to lesson 25.

Read over the vocabulary on pages 748-749. Make your vocab picture cards with definitions. Read “Lewis and Clark” on page 753-758. Write a paragraph about the story. Check for proper punctuation and grammar and use 5 vocab words.

You can utilize this online library and enjoy a good book anywhere.

If you have a real book that you’ve been wanting to read and just haven’t had the time – take this week to enjoy it and maybe think about bringing it in and sharing it with us when we return.  I always love to hear about new books!

Once you pick up your workbook from school, you can do the workbook pages that go along with the story.  The pages don't usually go in straight order.  Here is what I would suggest you do.  Please note, if something is too frustrating for your child, stop, take a breather, and maybe come back to it later or the next day.  These pages are just for them to practice the skills we are working on.  No STRESS. :)

Challenge Work: You can do any of the extra computation, math focus, or mental math problems that I didn’t assign from each lesson for extra practice.

There are many wonderful nature documentaries and series about places around the world. Amazon, Disney+, and Netflix, all have educational programs available.  If you have any of these subscriptions at your house, here are some ideas to get you started.
