         <description><![CDATA[<p>Dirk Hartog becomes the first European to step foot on Australia. He arrived at the western side of Australia on the 25th of October in 1616. He was the second person to record his encounter country Australia. The island he landed on is now know as Dirk Hartog Island. </p>]]></description>

Rock art was painted in a large enough rock centers to shelter a small amount of people from rain and wind. Those types of rock shelters were mainly found in North Eastern Victoria and Gariwerd.</p>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<p>The Aboriginal warrior Pemulwuy started to resist the invasion of white settlers, who were settling into the traditional lands of his people. He had managed to evade being captured for mulitiple years, even though he had been seriously hurt one time, all until 1802 when he was shot. Then his head was cut of and sent to Sir Joseph Banks.</p>]]></description>
