Hey secret lover,

It is so sweet of you that you send me this poem! I never knew you were in love with me.I love the sentence: “it is an ever-fixed mark That looks on tempests and is never shaken.”It really describes how love works. I also love the sentence: “Love is not love Which alters when it alteration finds,Or bends with the remover to remove.” Love needs to stay the same after things that happened or change, otherwise you don’t love each other. I never would have thought of the idea that you will send me this, i’m shocked cause i also have a crush on you!And yes, I want to start a relationship with you my love!

"A host, of golden daffodils;

Beside the lake, beneath the trees,

Fluttering and dancing in the breeze." Sometimes people are like daffodils, because when you are with the people you like and love you are happy and "dancing" as well.

I chose this picture because you can see a lake by the threes. I think it fits the quote because they are talking about a lake beneath the trees. And i find it a beautiful picture.

People are like stars. Every human sparkles in their own way!

I chose this picture because you can see the stars shining bright like the quote says.

"I wandered lonely as a cloud" I chose this quote because sometimes as a human you can feel lonely like a cloud in a empty sky.

I chose this picture because there is one cloud in a empty sky and i think it fits the quote.

Hello mister Gerard Manley Hopkins,

The subject you are writing about in this poem is still present. You write in this poem about how the people destroyed the world:

"And all is seared with trade; bleared, smeared with toil." People have put themselves above god and this is becoming more and more apparent. It is still present. They think they don't need god anymore but why? "Why do men then now not reck his rod?"

You write about the greatness of God: "The world is charged with the grandeur of God." I agree with you at this point because i got the same faith.

Also you write about nature never exhausting “And for all this, nature is never spent; There lives the dearest freshness deep down things.” This subject is out of date because nature is getting worse.This is because there is climate change and there have been a lot of forest fires and so on causing a lot of nature to be lost.

and the last sentence I think is a wonderful sentence because it shows how God looks at us and cares for us “Because the Holy Ghost over the bent”, “World broods with warm breast and with ah! bright wings.”

I really enjoyed reading your poem and giving my opinion!

Modernism-A Coat-Assignment 1

The notes in the stave should represent "The song" he is talking about.
The coat should represent the coat from the phrase "I made my song a coat."
The word "SONG" that I wrote down also fits well with this.
In addition, I drew an earth because he is writing about the eyes of the world.
So we move on to point 5, the eye, so I drew that because he writes about that.
I also drew a viking boat because he writes about ancient mythologies. That's why I thought that fit in.
Now about the sentence, "The fools caught it." I chose this phrase the fools thus cut down his beautiful creation and thought it fit the poem well.
The clothing with a cross through it has to do with the phrase, "For there's more enterprise in walking naked."
Then about the symbol with the man with the masks. The fools pretend it was their idea but took it away from the creator.
Then lastly the hand under the earth, which has to do with the word "wore" in the phrase: "Wore it in the world's eyes."
