The Clayton Anti Trust Act was signed by Woodrow Wilson in 1914.The purpose is for it to be fair for businesses,so there is no competition. It was successful in a sense of the monopolies. It wasn't a success for the protection of workers.

The work affects us today by not allowing people to have unfair competition between businesses. There was an antitrust act that was filed against Comcast - Time Warner on February 20, 2014. they use an example about Walmart . it says how Walmart has such buying power and they buy stuff from suppliers and buys it at a good price and drives their prices down. this causes economic inefficencies with other companies. This relates to my item because its all about banning unfair business and allowing every company to have the fair shop at selling items. Wal-mart is somehow worked a way around it with their cheap prices.
