   This program is made to educate, and include people from different backgrounds in our school district. We welcome students to be part of our club and learn about the United States, Latin América and other countries around the world. We eat snacks such as pop corn, peanut butter sandwiches and share about our cultures to get to know each other. We play different games like jump rope, Uno, Simon says, twister and much more.

We welcome all girls to be part of this wonderful club. In this program we will learn about different types of woman around the world and their lifestyles. We have learned about feminism and how to be proud of being a woman. We discuss our views and give our critical thinking about different women social customs in a round table. We eat snacks, watch videos, play games, color and draw and more.

1. Members share traditions, food, and customs from their cultures. This week members share how they celebrated the holidays.

2. Members discuss topics such as music, tv shows like Gabriel Iglesias. This allows members to broaden their knowledge.

3. Members played different games like UNO, Bingo, Trivia, jump rope, do Zumba and catch a ball.

Members watch videos about character and purpose of life, value, elegance.

Members painted their nails and converse about personal topics like emotions, feelings. They analyzed, they give their own point of view and come out with a solution.

Meeting Date: January 9, 2025  

We kicked off the year with our first meeting, welcoming new and returning members! New students learned essential French phrases, including greetings, introductions, the alphabet, counting from 0 to 20, and farewells. We enjoyed snacks together but concluded early at 4 PM due to inclement weather.

Our second meeting featured officer elections. Congratulations to our new officers:

We also initiated a Valentine's project to create thoughtful gifts for family and the school community and enjoyed listening to French music to enhance our cultural experience. We ended early again at 4 PM due to the weather. Please note there will be no meeting next week due to midterm exams. See you in two weeks!

Cultural Discovery: Students learned about the history and significance of Lent and Fat Tuesday.

Language Enrichment: We expanded our vocabulary through themed activities.

Festive Traditions: We explored how New Orleans blends French heritage with American culture.

Culinary Adventure: A class favorite—making and enjoying crêpes!

This hands-on experience deepened our cultural understanding while making language learning fun and interactive!

We have planned to decorate our classroom and hallway to raise awareness and inspire future generations of women to continue breaking barriers.

The goal behind this project was to encourage kindness, positivity, and respect.

This thoughtful gesture not only gave the student a chance to enjoy a pampering experience but also helped boost confidence and self-esteem to the rest of the members.

The members have been engaging in team building and recreational activities, including playing football and participating in ball-throwing games. These activities helped their sense of community, cooperation and inclusion.

We played with the hula hoops and talked about what makes the hoops return after they're thrown away from a person, and how to turn them to return.

We continued playing pickle ball, ping pong, Catan, among other games.

Conversations evolved in the group when members became vulnerable in sharing their roles in their classes; when the classroom becomes disruptive.
