• In their article, we are told of President Obama, who announced in the White House Rose Garden that he would take executive action on immigration legislation if House Republicans would not move to address immigration reform. The President announced a series of implementing measures which will have an enormous impact on the lives of millions of people in the US without legal immigration status. An "Executive Action" is when the president ordered that certain steps be taken to implement the law on the basis of its priorities. Indeed, he wants that 11 million immigrants who are here illegally, have rights, a legal status, a protection from deportation, and work permits . The sentence in the article proves it, line 8 "work permits and protection from deportation to millions of immigrants now in the country" For that, he will use his executive power, without the Congress. Obama said he had ordered a shift of immigration enforcement resources from the interior of the country toward the southern border. Furthermore, he contends that for him, America can not wait indefinitely before to act. He describes the situation as being urgent for the population of immigrants. And the situation can be also dangerous for the life and the health of the immigrants because they are in America illegaly and we can not survive entire life in this situation. There is a serious issue and Congress chooses to do nothing, It’s bad for the future.
• The article comes to the New York times. It speaks of Barack Obama, so the topic is about a politician and the Congress too . Barack Obama said line 16 :"I'm beginning a new effort to fix has much of our immigration system as I can on my own , without congress. " . It the article one other topic is present : the laws . Let us quote line 15 : "to pass a darn bill".

• The author does not take sides in a point of view but he emphasizes a lot of correlation between the Congress and President Obama, with arguments against or neutral.

• According to us, we chose this article because it talks about an important subject in the world : immigration. Rights for immigrants is still a problem, and reforms etablishing by the heads of state show the evolution of this problem. Moreover, this Article is recent and allows to treat the subject more easily because this is a subject that still exists. We see that President Obama wants equality but Congress thinks otherwise, that show there are different points of view.
