Then they send the bill to the house of Representative, they can either decline the bill and give it back to the person that wrote the bill or put it away an never heard again, or they accept the bill, then it would go to the senate. The senate would need majority of vote for the bill to be improve, or the senate doesn't have a majority vote of the bill they would send it back to the house to make any changes or they could make the bill dead. After the senate has majority of the vote the president has three options, they could either kill the bill, accept it, put it in his pocket.
