After the organisms die the bacteria in the ground decomposes their bodies and turn it into fertilizers for the next plants to arrive. By this we learn that nothing in the world gets wasted.

1. The sun is the principal principal source of energy for almost every food chain, as it allows plants to carry out photosynthesis and make food.
2. The flow of energy begins from the bottom of the food chain, with the producers which are always a form of a plant. The primary consumers will eat the producers and gain all of their energy. Then, the secondary consumers will eat the primary consumers and gain all of their energy. This will keep going with tertiary consumers until the animals decompose and pass away. Their energy and nutrients get absorbed by the soil, which then returns back to the plants.
