This book is about gardening and mathematics. It teaches as how to grow plants best from teaching us some facts about gardening to taking care of the plants. There are different factors affecting the growth of plants like the direction, the area of the garden, the space between different species of plants etc. After knowing some gardening skills, we need to care the growth of the vegetables like pulling up the seedlings. This book also includes a few mathematics questions that are related to gardens and we need to think of them to solve these problems.
After reading this book, I have known more about gardening which I have never got in touch before. I have also known more about the use of mathematics as I have never thought mathematics are that useful in our daily lives. Some are very interesting, for example plants will grow the best if they face south and we can divide a garden into several squares which makes gardening more effective. This book is called ''Queen Serena". It is about there is a girl calls Serena. She always hopes to find someone to pay attention to her. Today is her birthday, she wants someone pay attention to her so she sings songs loudly but no one answers. She also shouts loudly but also no one answers. She wants to eat pancake but she finds that there is no one here so she has to make by herself. She makes a mess. Then, she wanders around in the garden. Suddenly, her family, her friends and her neighbours come out, they get a surprise for Serena. Serena is very surprised that she has never expect.
